A woman dressed in miko robes was sweeping the stairs of her family shrine. Her black hair was hanging loose around her shoulders. Her deep blue eyes were unfocused as she continued with her task. Her thoughts were on the past and the people she missed seeing. Her sister and brothers, her adopted son, and all the friends she had made. It had been three years since she had seen them. She had graduated from high school with honors a few months before. She didn't want to go to college, preferring the slower paced life style of a priestess.
